Blogger has eaten my last post. It has drove me ape shit with it's last glitch. I am SICK of wasting my time, having my posts eaten, being hit with "conflicting edits" error messages, giving me that "cookies disabled" bullshit, and not even trying to work with my Opera browser.
I tried four times to post something tonight, just to have my pictures disappear every time. I'm sick of Blogger, their glitches, and lack of concern for them. I know this is a "free" service, but it has come to the point where "free" is costing too much. Tomorrow, I'm going to start over on Wordpress. Blogger has got on my last nerve...

Blogger does suck. I write my posts on OpenOffice and cut and paste into blogger. I don't lose stuff that way...
I, and I am guilty as the next,can't for the life of me understand why we, at least most of us, us Google! Google as we all know is in bed with the feds! Watching, waiting to pounce if we step out of line, tracking every move we make. When I get back from this delivery from Oahu to Cal later in April, I, for one plan on being Google free! Years ago I dropped their search engine for ixquick, which does not track your searches btw. Been researching wordpress.com and others.Won't be until the end of May as I have another delivery from San Francisco to San Diego when I get back. Maybe a week between the two but Google will be outta my life before I post again. Something maybe you should think about. Like as in Keep it simple! :)

Same here. I tried for almost an hour this morning to put a post up. I kept getting "form errors", which I'd not seen before in over 400 posts. I have no idea what a "form error" is or how to correct it.

I would suggest using tumblr over wordpress. I know I switched from blogger to tumblr and it's a lot easier to make changes your accustomed to with blogger. Wordpress (free) version in a nutshell is difficult in every way possible for a maintainer of a blog, even if you go pro (non-free) it does not get any easier.
The only issue of course is you prolly want to import your blogger and tumblr does not support this, neither does wordpress to my knowledge.. that being said surely their is a plugin or service which offers such a thing.
I strongly recommend tumblr, and even though you cant import your blogger you can still keep your blogger open and link to it from tumblr thus eliminating the issue.
oh that's really very sad, and thanks for sharing your post, now I'll also start on the word press.com .
Thanks for the input on these different sites. Especially since I teeter on the edge of insanity with wordpress most days.
Well, at least give us fair warning of when you'll change, and what your new URL will be.
