Awesome Basic SHTF Kit

If you were wondering what one looked like, well Hermit Jim found it! Some enterprising individual should start selling these...

I saw that! It really IS nice! I love the little stove! I went to the site to see if we could actually buy one of the kits and they are a charity that donates the kits to areas where disasters hit.

Oh how I was almost wishing for a tornado this next winter to blow my house away.....lol!

Kellie, I often wished a hurricane would blow mine away, but no dice... That is a great kit!

it looks great..

of course this creates a problem for those monkees whom love helping helpless people because this kit makes such people more independent of said control freak monkees...

comprehendee???

Wildflower, no sprackenzie Spanglish : ) But it does take some control from the monkeys, I agree. I figure they call it a compromise, one which makes their job temporarily easier...

That really is a great little stove. The whole kit is a great idea.

I hate the idea of trying to peddle any kind of crap, but fortunes were made on Y2K.......maybe a Dec 21, 2012 marketing theme (scheme) ?????

Anon 8:50, I do too. I hate dealing with the "system" any more than I have too, and the entrepreneur is completely sucked in by it. Better someone else than me...

Looks like a really good kit to have- especially the stove. Looks like an modernized Sheep herder's stove.
But I wonder about them 'shipping it after the disaster'. Doesn't make much sense to me- spend all that money for an 'iffy' delivery if you have to bug out or your old address has become non-existant.

Shy, they ain't meant for us 'Murkins, we's too blamed rich don'tcha know...

They're not meant for the Americans, but they sure want our donations so they can send them out. I heard about this concept a few years ago, and sent an email asking if I donated a box, could I buy another one for myself...no dice. Apparently, they don't need my money bad enough. BTW, the stove is sold in England by itself. Here's another little stove - http://www.amazon.com/Portable-Military-Camping-Heater-STOVE-2346/dp/B002XNWC8A/ref=wl_it_dp_v?ie=UTF8&coliid=I31VWFC6AP54ZY&colid=314L24P9Y5WTU
