The middle east is going to hell in a hand basket in a hell of a hurry, which is a great excuse for traders to run oil prices through the roof. Last time they just did it for shits and grins, I suppose. So this time they'll be "justified" in their screwing us over.
Now, for the inevitable Euro-twit who will comment here telling me to "suck it up, they've been paying umpteen euros per drop for decades", I say this: That's your own damn fault for letting your government tax the living crap out of it. Your ridiculous fuel prices are mostly TAX, so take that lame argument and go pound sand...
I don't need to preach to the choir here about what this all means. But in case you've just stumbled across this blog, or the whole prepping/survival thing in general, it means that everything is about to get more expensive. Which should then tell you that this economic (non) recovery is about to do a prompt about-face. In other words, the recession (which has not ended yet, not by a long shot) could very well drop into depression.
Do a little research, and you will find that government unemployment numbers are bogus. They cook the books, finagle words, and basically put lipstick on the proverbial pig, in order to paint a rosier picture. Same goes for inflation numbers, because they conveniently leave out your two biggest expenses (besides mortgage robbery), which are food and fuel/energy.
Don't wind up like this guy, waiting for the anvil to crack him over the head. Things are about to get dicey...

I don't care what your plans are but if you are sending in Marines, there WILL be ground troops. You can send in the airwing, they will bring ground troops, You send in Amphib, They ARE ground troops,etc etc.
I Don't like the fact that its obvious Obama is , intentionally or not, trying to kick of WWIII. What bothers me the most about it is his complete lack of understanding on how to let go, and let the Generals do what they need to do. Sending in the Marines with his "do it my way" attitude is going to get a LOT of my brothers and sisters killed. WE all know the best way to use the Marines is to let them off the leash, get the job done, so they can come home with happy grins and big sloppy tongues hanging out. The Marines are not, have never been, and should never be used as an occupying force, EVER. Nor should they be used as a 'threat'. That that threat is implied just in existence. They should be used like the Samurai used the katana: if steel was shown, blood would be drawn, end of discussion.
(maybe that is his intention though, kill of enough of the troops so he can institute some form of Brownshirt recruitment here at home. Hmmmm. Maybe I am reading to much into things too.)
Dio, I pretty much figured that. Marines mean one thing: invasion/ground ops. After all, that's what they were created for... Obammy's intentions: bring down the USA for his globalist masters. That is patently clear at this stage of the game, to all who are not brainwashed. Not that it wasn't back in '08, to those of us who cared to look at his background...
I think Obama is enjoying watching the blue-collar Krackers suffer in the pocketbook. Probably gives him a hard-on, even if he only has a 2 inch dick.
Obama's Secretary of Energy made the statement 2 years ago that the U.S. needs permanant gas prices like Europe to curb demand. I hate comparisons to Europe. Germany, for example, has 80 some million people in an area the size of Oregon. Japan, even more people. Of course these countries can have 'bullet trains' and other unique transpo systems when they are geographically so small. The U.S. is huge in comparison, and the same shit ain't gonna work here.
Anyone who didn't go to an Ivy League school already knows all this though.
